Girvin Ranch is a private working ranch with native West Texas wildlife and a long history of selective hunting access, granted privately and by arrangement.

Access here has always been private and by arrangement. The ranch does not operate as a public hunting venue, and there are no day hunts and no packages.
The family looks for a small number of serious, experienced parties. Respect for the land, safe practice, and a straightforward relationship matter more than volume.
Real brush country, not a game farm.
Arid, mesquite-heavy, rugged, and open. Mesquite flats and native cover hold game through dry seasons. Creek corridors concentrate movement, and ranch roads give practical access without breaking up the country. This is not staged country.

The ranch ran cattle through the 1990s and the family still works its pens and pastures on a small scale, now mostly for rescue animals. Wildlife seen on and around the ranch includes wild hogs, deer, quail, wild turkeys, rattlesnakes, and other native West Texas species.

The ranch's principal work today is resource development: oil and gas exploration on the Eastern Shelf, wind and solar acreage, groundwater, caliche, and infrastructure access.
